ABOUT US
HISTORY- Happy Valley Blended Products was started in 1997, utilizing some of the buildings and silos that were originally part of the Pleasant Gap Agway Feed Store & Milling Company. Over the years we have added additional storage silos, various Marion dry bulk blenders, six (6) additional production & packaging lines, including a separate production line which contains a bulk silo, Rotex screener, hammer mill, and finished product surge bin used for packaging. We also rehabilitated our rail siding, adding room for over sixty(60) cars, & added railcar unloading systems giving us the ability to handle pneumatic, bottom drop, or box cars.
CAPABILITIES- Utilizing our existing equipment we have the ability to receive materials by flatbed, van, and pneumatic trailers, hopper bottom, box & pneumatic rail cars. We have the ability to process super sacks, to either load or unload. Also,utilizing our various dry bulk blenders, we can custom blend & package your products into any number of different package types and sizes. We also have the ability to custom blend and load finished products into pneumatic trailers. We offer affordable warehousing and can help arrange competitive, timely shipping.
LAB-Our lab is equipped to perform a number of basic tests such as; Light Expansion Test(ASTM C-827); Flow Tests(ASTM C-1437); Compressive Strength(ASTM C-109); Set Times; Sieve Tests; along with some limited help on formulations.
LOCATION- Happy Valley Blended Products, LLC; is located at 660 Axemann Road, Pleasant Gap; Centre County; Pennsylvania 16823. We are approximately eight(8) miles east of Penn State University, in the center of the state near the junctions of Interstates I-80; I-99; and U.S. 322.
